Managing the Extreme: Behaviour Strategies for Schools
A conference designed to support schools in responding to increasing behavioural challenges through practical approaches.
For
Headteachers, Senior Leadership Teams, SENCOs, Inclusion Leads, Pastoral & Behaviour Leads, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors and those supporting pupils with SEMH needs
Schools are currently facing unprecedented challenges, with rising levels of challenging behaviour, aggression, increasing complexity of need, and growing pressure on staff and leadership teams.
For many, traditional approaches to behaviour are no longer delivering the outcomes needed, this conference will provide a Positive Regard Toolkit to help reduce exclusions and provide alternative solutions when sanctions are no longer effective.
Introducing
Luke Mitchell – Head of Positive Regard & National Consultant
Luke brings extensive experience from SEMH, mainstream, and specialist settings, having dedicated his career to supporting pupils often described as “the most challenging.”
As a former Behaviour Lead within Wellspring Academy Trust, Specialist Leader of Education, and Certified Attachment Lead, Luke now supports over 1,000 schools nationally through Positive Regard.
His work provides a clear, practical framework for schools looking to move beyond reactive behaviour management toward long-term cultural change.
